The Phonofone III does as well as the Phonophone II, mechanically amplifying the sound from your iPhone up to 60dB. But while its predecessor did it for $900, the new version, or at least the first batch of the new Phonophone III will also sell for just $200.
That’s quite shockingly low for a gadget that’s more art than hardware, and quite large at it. It has an iPhone dock that lets you pop your iPhone 4 in easily, and it amplifies its sound about four times.
Nothing more to say here, if you’re a lover of the simple and the beautiful, plop down $200 for this ceramic horn, and enjoy not having to plug in yet another gadget.
